William S. Floyd
Mr. Floyd is the former Vice President of Sierra Chemical Company. He is a Trustee of the U.C. Berkeley Foundation, the General Chair of the Berkeley Engineering Fund and a member of the College of Engineering Advisory Board. Mr. Floyd is a Trustee of the U.C. Berkeley Foundation and is a founder of Friends of Cal. He received his B.S. in Industrial Engineering in 1956 and his MBA from Harvard University in 1958.
Ms. Lambert is an attorney and parent active in many public school campaigns and has been a member of the Menlo Atherton Education Foundation Board as well as many non-profit foundations and boards. She is a founding director of Friends of Cal. She received her B.A. in English from U.C. Berkeley in 1986 and her J.D. from UCLA in 1990. She last practiced law at Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto.
Mark J. Robinson
Mr. Robinson is an investment banker specializing in the healthcare sector and a senior partner with Centerview Partners in San Francisco. He is a founder of Friends of Cal as well as a Trustee of the U.C. Berkeley Foundation. He received his B.A. in History and his B.A. in Political Science in 1988 as well as his MBA from Harvard University in 1993.
Laura Burton Capps
Laura Capps has spent 15 years in public service, developing strategic communications and issue advocacy campaigns. She founded and currently runs Mission Partners, a public affairs firm in Santa Barbara. She has been a speechwriter for President Clinton, Senator Kennedy's communications director, a member of John Kerry's presidential campaign team, and U.C. Berkeley's Director of Government Affairs. Ms. Capps is a Trustee of the U.C. Berkeley Foundation. She is a founder of Friends of Cal and received her B.A. in History in 1994 and a M.A. in History from the London School of Economics.
James W. Bruner, Jr.
Mr. Bruner is Director of Governmental Affairs at Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe, a law firm with offices in the United States and abroad. He is also an almond farmer who, with his family, farms the Bruner Ranch at Crows Landing, CA. He is a founder of Friends of Cal as well as a Trustee of the U.C. Berkeley Foundation and a member of the Advisory Board of the U.C. Berkeley Botanical Garden. He received his B.S. in Forestry & Conservation in 1970 and an M.S. in Wildland Resource Science in 1971.
